Pop Music

I been knowing Pop Culture for more than a decade. It can be hard to pick one thing to focus from the many Pop Culture topics. The most influential in Pop Culture are Television and Music. I strongly believe that it has a negative and positive affect on todays generations.  The one that interests me the most is Music. Music can help a person go through many situations (The Closing Of the American Mind, 1987). There will always be that one song that will make a person get up and go. A person can do more than just dance to music. They can laugh, scream, clean, or cry. It is very common for people to listen to music genre that is suitable for whatever they are feeling at that very moment.  It changes a persons way of thinking and has a huge impact on lives. Pop Culture is what we see, read hear and speak and are exposed to on a daily basis. Music can be positively influential as well as negatively influential. It all depends on that person, their way of feeling and thinking.

Music can be positively influential as well as negatively influential. It all depends on that person, their way of feeling and thinking. For example, Madonna, Beyoncé, and Britney Spears, their music can be sexually provocative, for foreign people, but not todays generations. Essentially to me, music is like breathing. Music is live itself. The beat, the lyrics, it tells their own story. Imagine a world without out music. Music is a motivation. We are been educated, to take in music and move on. Pop culture is where all good music comes from. It is what brings us together and makes us different from any other.

  3. When I feel down, I listen to music that can relax me, when I'm happy, I listen to corridos, it can be a bad combination because it causes me to drink, so yes it depends on the person.
